ABOUT US

A privately owned, wholly Australian Company formed in 1947 by Ronald Gordon Cooper and a business associate. Originally founded to produce various glazed earthenware lamp bases and pottery vases most of which were sold through the major retail chains around Australia.

In the early 1950's Ron Cooper acquired 100% of the company and quickly changed its direction towards Technical and Industrial Ceramics, the field in which we continue to excel today. On the death of Ron Cooper in 1969, the current Managing Director, John Cooper took over the running of the business.

As opportunity arose, John Cooper acquired with the utmost good will and consent a number of smaller ceramic producers, incorporating them under the umbrella of KC Industries. Today KC Industries lays claim to be the largest manufacturer of general technical ceramics in Australia, with export revenues making up more than 50 % of the companies overall turnover to countries such as South Africa, Europe and the United States of America.

K.C. Industries Pty. Limited is a privately owned wholly Australian company, formed in 1947. We are in the business of Manufacturing Technical and Industrial Ceramics and Wire Wound Resistors that are supplied to industries such as Domestic Appliance, Manufacturing, Chemical, Engineering, and Automotive.

All employees at K.C. Industries Pty. Limited are aware that the ultimate success of our company is dependent upon the success of our customers. Therefore, our prime objective is to achieve high customer satisfaction by consistently producing quality product along with high levels of customer service, through quality and reliability.

This will be achieved and maintained by the effort of our management team. This team will provide an environment throughout the company that is conducive to reaching our quality related goals.

It is the policy and goal of our company to maintain an effective quality system, the core of which is the companies Quality, Procedures and Work Instruction Manuals as well as our Job and Packing Instructions documents. The Quality Manual outlines the system used to assure the quality requirements of both K.C. Industries Pty. Limited and our customers are identified and attained. The system has been designed to satisfy the demands of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
